Dan Goldschmidt

Of Counsel

Dan Goldschmidt is Of Counsel to The Foster Group, PLLC.  He grew up in Connecticut and earned his undergraduate and law degrees from Yale University.

After law school, Dan clerked for a federal district judge in New York City.  He spent the next several years in the litigation practices of two of the biggest global law firms in New York and in London.  In that capacity, Dan developed insight into how large companies and other institutions handle claims brought against them.  In the same vein, Dan has served as in-house counsel to two major multinational corporations.

For the last several years, Dan has been a trailing military spouse, following his wife (a U.S. Air Force Captain) to Florida, Tokyo and Phoenix.  During this time, Dan has sharpened and broadened his litigation skills, working for both large international and small boutique law firms.  Dan, his wife, and their golden retriever Muji have recently relocated to New Hampshire, where they are fixing up an old farmhouse.  In his spare time, Dan sings in a community choir and tries desperately to stay in shape.

Dan is thrilled to bring the skills he has developed across a varied legal career to advocate for, and protect the rights of, hard-working employees who have been treated unfairly.
